Hi all,
Well I just got home a couple hours ago from the last day of shooting on a new comedy/action film called zoom. Here is the film description.
Chevy Chase is set to star in "Zoom". Revolution Studio's comedy also stars Tim Allen and Courteney Cox. The project is being directed by Pete Hewitt and is based on Jason Lethcoe's graphic novel "Zoom's Academy for the Super Gifted."
The story centers on an out-of-shape superhero (Allen) who is called back into action to turn a ragtag group of kids into a new generation of superheroes to save the world.
Columbia Pictures is planning a May 12th 2006 release.
This shoot was weather and time of day exclusive, therefore all of us extras where required on set, located in a gravel pit in Dundas, at the crack of dawn, waredrobed in military garb. Of course, because of Hurricane Katrina, it has been a little rainy, hense, my first day of set was in Toronto back on August 15th, my sixth day, today.
The good thing was I was home everynight by eight and the lack of cell service because of all the limestone, meant I didn't have to listen to my agents complaining. Oh and my chance at an upgrade lasted all about thirty seconds, six foot wasn't tall enough?
Another set down, another to go, I'll keep you posted. Still waiting for my commercial check (see Hair Club for Men posts) to come through, that one should cover the hydro bill, I hope.
Any who, later
Kenaz
