Bill Sturrup was Mr. Hamilton. As a reporter, he was everywhere. He was the voice of CHML, the Ticats, Bulldogs and others. His legacy will echoes on. Anyone who has attended a Bulldogs game can atest to the sheer excitement his voice drummed up when he belted out the trademark Hamilton BUULLL-dogs call that shook the walls of Copps Coliseum every time the team hit the ice. Bill Sturrup passed away Tuesday morning after a bout with cancer.
