Description of Technique:The four seperate panels of the same still life was painted
using the techniques of 4.Scumbling-which is the opposite of glazing. This time the lighter shade is painted over the darker. 3.Glazing. 1.Grisaille(grih zeye)-The french word meaning grey. This a method in which the entire painting is first painted in a series of light grays, then overpainted in the correct colours. 2.Acrlic Wash Technique in which the paint is thinned with water much like the way you do with water colours.
