Lt. Andrew Richard Nuttall of Victoria was the 134th Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan.

Lt. Andrew Richard Nuttall, the 134th Canadian soldier to fall in Afghanistan, will be repatriated Monday at the Canadian Forces Base in Trenton after weather forced the postponement of the ceremony Sunday, the Ontario Provincial Police said.

The repatriation ceremony will now take place on Monday at 2 p.m.

Nuttall, 30, was killed Dec. 23 by an improvised explosive device detonated during a foot patrol 25 kilometres southwest of Kandahar City. The blast also killed an Afghan National Army member and an Afghan interpreter.

He began his journey home to Canada following a Christmas Eve ramp ceremony at the Kandahar Airfield.
