E.T should have stayed home!Police in Hamilton made a quick arrest in connection with a robbery, after the suspect was described by his victims as resembling a character from a movie. A couple was robbed of cash inside an apartment on Wellington Street South early by a pair of men, 1 of whom was armed with a hand gun.
The victims, in their words, told police the primary suspect resembled ET -- The Extra Terrestrial. Once the description was put out by police, a cab driver called to say he'd just dropped off a man resembling ET.
A short time later police found a man, matching said description, and found a hand gun in a nearby garbage bin. 24-year-old Patrick Hoover of no fixed address has now been charged with robbery.
